Establishing
of Quality Services Since the "Old Days"
Willie
Goh, the founder for this business, mentioned that it is very
fortunate to have the opportunity on working in the Port of
Singapore Authority, (PSA) as a reefer technician for six
years starting from late seventies. As during these old days,
the training provided by PSA was very comprehensive and extensive.
All technicians were even required to rebuild the motors and
compressors, including winding of motor and baked it. By knowing
the fundamental process; it enables him to be more competence
on diagnosing the reefer system.
The
rigour and stringent trainings provided by PSA are definitely
one of the essential factors that enable Willie to gain trust
from the customers. As the business gradually expand, Willie
has hired some of the PSA ex-technicians that undergone the
similar training programs. They are now assisting us to supervise
the key depots and terminals. One of them was even the PSA
Reefer Instructor during the old days who gave training to
Willie.

Maintaining
of Quality Services & Ability to Handle Special Types
of Reefer
The
management understands that having a pool of fully qualified
technical staffs is the main assets for rendering of excellence
services to Maintenance and Repair (M&R) on reefer machinery.
Hence, by maintaining low staff turnover and continuously
sending them to attend reefer seminars conducted by various
manufacturers on every year, this large pool of technical
staffs are well equipped with the latest reefer technology
and knowledge to service all kinds of reefer machinery.
In
addition, some of our selected technical staffs are being
trained to handle special types of reefer, like Carrier Controlled
Atmosphere (CA), that are able to slow down the fresh cargo
ripening process by adjusting the Oxygen and Carbon dioxide
levels in the air inside the container, as well as Thermo
King (TK) Deep Freezer that is able to pull down the box temperature
till -60 Deg C. Our technical staffs have commissioned on
a few hundreds of the new Carrier CA reefer and attended course
given by TK for the Deep Freezer. This enables us to handle
these special types of reefer while being transshipped in
PSA with ease. Also, we have been actively involved in special
project, like conversion of refrigerant from R12 to either
R134a or R409a due to Ozone Depletion issue. Up-to-date, we
have already performed this retrofix program for a few hundreds
of reefer containers. |
Recognition
of Service Quality by various Manufacturers
Carrier,
being the manufacturer with largest global market share, has
recognized our effort and quality services rendered to Shipping
Lines and Container Leasing Companies, and given us several
awards during these years, like; Best Practice in Customer
Satisfaction, Special Recognition in Employee Development,
as well as the most Prestige Recognition, i.e. the Top Performance
Award, on acknowledging our company as being one of the Best
Service Agents in the world. We have received the Top
Performance Award twice in recent years.
Also,
the two Japanese Manufacturers, i.e. Mitsubishi and Daikin,
have periodically invited us to attend some special training
programs conducted in their manufacturing plants at, Nagoya
and Osaka respectively. According to our understanding, they
only short-listed those Service Agents in the world that they
deem are providing excellence and premium services, to the
Shipping Lines and Container Leasing Companies.
In addition,
these two manufacturers have even gone one step further, whereby
Daikin had engaged us to provide 24 hours Technical Hotlines
services to Shipping lines in Asia for several years, as well
as Mitsubishi had requested us to assist them on providing
part of the training conducted in Singapore. This is another
endorsement by the Manufacturers on our ability to provide
quality M&R services.

Extreme
high filled-rate on Parts for M&R
No
one is able to complete the repair even if you have excellence
technical competency but without the required parts for replacement.
This will resulted in customers paying unnecessary additional
storage cost, poor utilization on resource, and worst of all,
threat of losing shippers due to insufficient boxes to fulfill
any booking order.
The
Management is well aware of it and has stock up extensive
and comprehensive range of reefer spare parts for all makers
with value that worth around S$3 million. Please refer to
